The US Constitution does not guarantee separation of church and state. It guarantees the FederalRead More govt will not establish a religion for our country. For over 200 years there was little to no fuss over religious symbols on "public" land and in the past few years the anti-religion crowd has gone haywire worrying over such things, when so many issues that actually effect us should garner our attention. IMHO: The symbol should not have been removed because it actually exists on the missions. It's history. It's artistic. But hey, waste money on something that really doesn't matter very much while little kids go to school hungry or farmers don't have water to grow food for them to eat. This is a huge fail on the part of the ACLU, this time. Seeing a cross hurts no one and if you don't like it, avert your eyes.

The gap between political parties when it comes to actually caring about "TrueRead More Unemployment" is very sad. The right is complaining because the actual unemployment number is significantly higher than what we see reported, and the left wants to close the gap between the Haves and Have Nots. There is never going to be common ground. Work hard for yourself, give wherever you can, and hope folks pay it forward. Our government is a complete joke, and its both parties fault...

Without accurate numbers, how can we address the problem? The "have nots" need more thanRead More UI benefits, too. Most Americans need new career training and education to complete in the world economy.

What I'm saying about the numbers is, "How can we help if we don't know who you are?"

The people that I have seen struggling with poverty, are jobless. There are no jobs. People areRead More dropping out of the work force in record numbers. It's so very sad, somehow we need to get people working again. Sadly, it won't happen under this president. BHO will go down as one of the worst presidents in American history...

A new vicious cycle is happening with a lot of lower skilled jobs. People who are desperate areRead More volunteering to work for free and now some government/company jobs are just being filled by volunteers. And who is paying those volunteers? The tax payers because we're paying for their welfare instead of the company who should be paying them.

President Obama is wrong when he infers that every American would rather have a meaningful job overRead More an unemployment check. I know that seeking employment isn't the same for everyone, some will experience some level of success while others will experience frustration. However, I know people that are perfectly content in getting an unemployment check. I believe that we need to find a way to get Americans working, however unemployment can't be funded forever. Last time I checked, Obama hasn't provided an exit strategy to stop unemployment and get people working. In summary, we need to find a way of transitioning the unemployed to having meaningful work. Lip service from Washington with no meaningful program(s) in place to extricate the unemployed from their predicament is not acceptable. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue, it is an American issue!

Then stop only blaming Obama. Congress shoulders a lot of the blame for doing nothing for theRead More unemployed.

To King Trax, I was unemployed over twenty years ago but Congress did nothing for me. I actuallyRead More found a job within two weeks of being laid off, so sometimes it behooves an unemployed person to give it their best shot. Businesses want people eager to work and they certainly won't hire them if they don't apply. I'm not saying it's easy to get a job, but at the end of the day, Congress cannot mandate that someone get a job if they haven't actively pursued it.

How can anybody have faith in this garbage program? The president is a liar. How do we trust that byRead More paying, we will be covered? He lied and lied and lied over and over and over again, saying we could keep our doctors. He also said, our rates wouldn't go up. Everything outta his disgusting pig mouth when it comes to health care, is probably not totally true. I feel like a fool for supporting Obamacare originally. I guess believing that lying pig, gets me $400 per month in additional insurance costs. Biggest pig of a president in my 45 years on this planet...Yes, I'm pissed!!!
