Wow! In broad daylight? With construction workers all around him? This guy is pretty cheeky!

I saw a near miss the other day where passengers getting off the east bound train waited for theRead More train to leave the station and then walked across the tracks. one person didn't see or hear the west bound incoming train and was alerted by passengers. there are no gates at platform crossings like there are on light rail, its an accident waiting to happen if you ask me - especially in this age of texting and smart phones.

Google Map from 2,000 miles away ---Indian Hill Boulevard and Santa Fe Street Claremont---shows aRead More well beaten path into a parking lot with just enough vegetation to block view of a train ---the set up is for a whistle free crossing with enough robbed from us by the railroads to have 10 sets of the missing sidewalk gates. I'm 2,000 miles away and can see a problem and the state/Fed/railroad inspectors can't being right there because???

I was on the train that struck him. I am truly sad for your loss Jessica. Whatever the reason thatRead More he ended up on track he lost his life, that's reality. There are cross-guards on every intersection so I am not sure how this could have happened.

My condolences to the family and prayers. Sorry to the family for some silly comments regarding thisRead More being a suicide. The best way to deal with the ignorant, is to ignore them...

Our condolences to the Rodriguez family. I was at the funeral yesterday. It was a beautiful andRead More loving tribute to a much-loved man. We are friends of Michael's sister, and wish we'd had the opportunity to know Michael, ourselves. We're praying the Lord will comfort and encourage the family, especially in this season.
