I think Donut Club (in San Dimas on Arrow Hwy near IHOP) is donating profits from their sales.Read More They're open 24 hours and have the most delicious blueberry and red velvet donuts. They may be a little pricier compared to some local places but the quality is worth it.

Since it is at the edge of a group of businesses, I would guess that they are going to make moreRead More spaces available for additional businesses

That's nothing! Claremont's City Manger earned $280,627 in 2011! And the Assistant City ManagerRead More earned $197,582! Doesn't seem right! Looks like the government is part of the 1% that everyone is so mad at...how ironic!

Remind me, how many times did Claremont's current Manager file for bankruptcy? And he was stillRead More appointed as Manager? I think salaries of city officials should be set by the residents. I doubt they'd get half of what they currently receive.

These workers are really stupid. They have to pay part of their paycheck to unions members so theRead More unions members can get rich. Also the hard workers cannot get raises until the useless workers get raises too which is NEVER. You are wasting your time being a hard worker. You get some stupid small pension for working at a job you hate for 30 years so you can never quit and better yourself. You you lose all ambition and are just a slave. Enjoy union work. Enjoy the misery.

I live near Claremont High School and have been wondering who was responsible for the excellentRead More music this afternoon. (I'm old, and usually hate random public music.) These guys were GREAT! Michael Miyamoto would be proud. Thanks to all!

Thanks to these two scum brothers, I can no longer transport my hearty meals in my trusty pressureRead More cooker via backpack. As an alternative, I tried to fit a crock pot, but it ruined my backpack zipper and made a meatball/marinara mess inside my backpack; even making way into the USB ports of my laptop. Sorry, tupperware won't cut it. It just gets too hot and eventually leaves a huge welt on my back.

@Muslim radicals are the problem here. This jihad/war whatever the hell you want to call it, willRead More never end in our lifetime. Ultimately the Muslims will win. Look no further than Europe. Unless there is a full fledged worldwide war, they really can't be stopped. Their numbers are too great. What we are doing in Afghanistan is nothing more than swatting away a bee every time one flies out of the hive. But there are millions still in the hive. Unless we close our borders to people from the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe, what happened in Boston will continue. It's not racist to not like Muslims just like it wasn't racist to not like the Russians during the Cold War or Germans during WWII.

Thelema: I appear angry because the entire purpose of this article is to promote the plight ofRead More illegals. I think illegals need to go back to their own country and get in line behind honest immigrants that legally apply to come to the US. "Plight of US farmworkers"??? Actually they have pretty good jobs considering their skill levels. I do not think they are suffering much. I own orange groves in Visalia, CA and employ Mexican pickers. They seem happy to me. Hard to believe, but I do not beat them. Yes, articles like this make me angry because the farmworker IS NOT struggling.
