The Press restaurant is located on the trendy Harvard Avenue in the Historic District. The actual building where the restaurant is located was built in 1926 and it was the printing house for the Claremont newspaper. It is a fun college and neighborhood folk hangout with a popular happy hour with discounted prices. It is an American gastro-pub offering popular pints of beers on tap, with a full bar of spirits and specialty cocktails. There's a small outside area where smoking is permitted and a small dining room serving an eclectic international menu. Some of the items are quesadilla, Chinese egg rolls, farmers market salads, burgers, chili and American comfort foods such as macaroni and cheese and roast chicken dinners with mashed potatoes and gravy.
