When Will Election Results Be Announced?

The first round of results for Los Angeles County is expected around 8:10 p.m. Tuesday.

The tentative schedule for Los Angeles County ballot results on Election Night and beyond is as follows, according to the Registrar of Voters. Patch will also publish the local results as they become available from the Registrar. (Click here to see Claremont-La Verne Patch voter guide.)

  • Polls close Tuesday at 8 p.m.
  • Starting about 8:10 p.m., absentee ballot results will be released.
  • Between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., first polling place results will be released. They are expected to decrease around 12:30 a.m.
  • Election night results are semifinal official canvass results and should not be considered final official results, Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters officials warn.
  • Election results updates are time stamped. Check the time stamp carefully each time you view the results. If results are not updating, it may be necessary to "Reload or Refresh" the page.

Any on-line server's performance may slow down under a heavy traffic load, registrar officials warn.

"Performance of the on-line server is not a reflection as to the status of the tally computer," They wrote. "Some browsers may require special settings to obtain the latest update."

@Muslim radicals are the problem here. This jihad/war whatever the hell you want to call it, willRead More never end in our lifetime. Ultimately the Muslims will win. Look no further than Europe. Unless there is a full fledged worldwide war, they really can't be stopped. Their numbers are too great. What we are doing in Afghanistan is nothing more than swatting away a bee every time one flies out of the hive. But there are millions still in the hive. Unless we close our borders to people from the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe, what happened in Boston will continue. It's not racist to not like Muslims just like it wasn't racist to not like the Russians during the Cold War or Germans during WWII.

Thanks to these two scum brothers, I can no longer transport my hearty meals in my trusty pressureRead More cooker via backpack. As an alternative, I tried to fit a crock pot, but it ruined my backpack zipper and made a meatball/marinara mess inside my backpack; even making way into the USB ports of my laptop. Sorry, tupperware won't cut it. It just gets too hot and eventually leaves a huge welt on my back.
