According to the Huffington Post, "the biggest winner during Tuesday night's town hall presidential debate may have been 'binders full of women.'"
Responding to a question about how the candidates would mitigate gender inequality in the workplace, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said women's groups brought him "whole binders full of women" when he sought to diversify his cabinet as governor of Massachusetts.
The Huffington Post reported that the phrase was mentioned more than 40,000 times in one minute on Twitter, and by the time th debate was over, a "Binders Full of Women" Facebook page had over 100,000 likes.

Here on Claremont-La Verne Patch, a discussion on the debate in general touched on the subject.
"Gov. Romney has a tendency to make malapropisms almost as frequently as Joe Biden is reputed to do." wrote Patch Reader William Korn. "This particular one was so silly it has become an instant Internet hit, just like his 'joke' about firing Big Bird."
