Victorville Man Killed in San Antonio Heights, Answers Sought

Ryan Christopher Lancaster, 28, of Victorville, died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center at 12:56 a.m. Saturday.

A Victorville man fatally wounded by a gunshot in a posh area of Upland, east of Claremont, died at a hospital Saturday, officials said.

Ryan Christopher Lancaster, 28, died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center at 12:56 a.m. Saturday, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's homicide investigators.

Deputies from the Fontana station were called to Euclid Avenue, near Mountain Avenue, about 11:20 p.m. Friday to investigate the report of shots fired, sheriff's officials said.

They arrived to find an empty vehicle but no one injured, officials said.

A short time later, a dispatcher was called about a wounded man at San Antonio Community Hospital, from where the man was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, officials said.

Anyone with information on the case was asked to call sheriff's homicide investigators at 909-387-3589.
