New Process May Make Disputing Parking Tickets Easier

You can now ask for a review or dismissal of a parking ticket issued in La Verne online, officials say.

There is a new and what authorities hope is a convenient way for those who get parking violations in La Verne to ask for a review or dismissal of the citation, officials announced recently.

Those requests can now be made on-line, La Verne Police Department officials said. First, anyone with a parking citation may go to the Information and Payment Center.

The department lists the rest of the steps to follow:

Enter your parking citation number. Allow ten days from date of issuance.

Follow the directions and complete the required information boxes.

After you have completed the form and submitted it. A La Verne Police Department Watch Commander will review your request.

After the review process is completed, you will receive a letter in the mail with the findings and conclusions. For further review guidelines, refer to the "How to Contest" link on Information and Payment Center.
