A bicyclist who was struck and killed by a Foothill Transit bus in Pomona was identified today by the coroner's office as a 42-year-old Orange County resident.
Steven Thomas Slater lived in Villa Park, near the city of Orange, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
The crash on White Avenue, between Orange Grove and Holt avenues, was reported at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Pomona police Lt. Eddie Vazquez said.
