A local psychologist pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of molesting two of his underage patients.
56-year-old Thomas Gary Amberson, whose business is located in Claremont, made the plea at an 8:30 a.m. arraignment in a Pomona courtroom, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
He will appear next on March 6, at which time a date for a preliminary hearing will be set, district attorney officials said.
Amberson-- who is free on $100,000 bail-- was arrested by the Claremont Police Department on Nov. 15 on charges of child molestation related to two separate individuals, according to a felony complaint from the DA's office.
The DA's office said Wednesday that Amberson pleaded not guilty to all charges, which included four felony counts of lewd acts on a child, plus another count of possessing child pornography.
Amberson is a resident of Upland, but has his practice located in Claremont, where he treats both children and adults, according to Claremont police.
