Nominate the Best Frozen Yogurt in the San Gabriel Valley

Let us know the best frozen yogurt places in and around the region so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

With the hot summer months upon us, cooling down is a must, and what better way is there to do that than buy digging in to a giant tub of creamy, delicious frozen yogurt, customized to your taste?

The frozen yogurt you can get today isn't your mom's frozen yogurt. Now, you can put anything from lychee to Captain Crunch as toppings, and you can craft concoctions that combine flavors from taro root to red velvet cake.

But Yogurtland and Pinkberry aren't the only names in town when it comes to delicious frozen yogurt (though they're certainly allowed on this list too if they really are the best!). While an huge array of toppings is key to a great frozen yogurt experience, friendly service, atmosphere and convenience are just as important.

So pick a frozen yogurt spot you love in the San Gabriel Valley, from anywhere near your home, from Altadena to Glendora, from La Cañada Flintridge to Diamond Bar. This includes Pasadena as well.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed, and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

It’s easy: Just nominate your favorite frozen yogurt in the comments below!*

*Because this is a contest, you’ll need to create a Patch login to nominate and vote!

NOMINATIONS CLOSE JULY 9!

Don’t forget to tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter and email! If you own a business, encourage your customers or friends to nominate you!

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks for your participation.

@Muslim radicals are the problem here. This jihad/war whatever the hell you want to call it, willRead More never end in our lifetime. Ultimately the Muslims will win. Look no further than Europe. Unless there is a full fledged worldwide war, they really can't be stopped. Their numbers are too great. What we are doing in Afghanistan is nothing more than swatting away a bee every time one flies out of the hive. But there are millions still in the hive. Unless we close our borders to people from the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe, what happened in Boston will continue. It's not racist to not like Muslims just like it wasn't racist to not like the Russians during the Cold War or Germans during WWII.

Thanks to these two scum brothers, I can no longer transport my hearty meals in my trusty pressureRead More cooker via backpack. As an alternative, I tried to fit a crock pot, but it ruined my backpack zipper and made a meatball/marinara mess inside my backpack; even making way into the USB ports of my laptop. Sorry, tupperware won't cut it. It just gets too hot and eventually leaves a huge welt on my back.
