La Verne Will Not Ticket for Overnight Parking During Holiday

La Verne Police officials say they will not enforce the no parking overnight ordinance over the holiday.

Just when you thought the holiday spirit was done with, the La Verne Police Department will be giving residents reason to lift those spirits again.

The department has announced that, due to the New Year holiday, it will not be enforcing the overnight parking ordinance that prohibits parking for more than a half hour at a time between 2 and 5 a.m.

La Verne residents and any out of town guests can rest easy on De. 31 and Jan. 1. The city’s ordinance usually prohibits the overnight parking of cars in order to keep the streets from being packed with cars.
