Poll: What Do You Think of Chick-fil-A Boycotters and Supporters?

A move to support Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy for his comments against gay marriage comes to the San Gabriel Valley.

A week after the made by Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy went viral on the Internet, the comments made an impact in the real world as supporters of the fast food chicken chain have shown up across the nation to show their appreciation for what they view as Cathy's support for traditional marriage.

The San Gabriel Valley was among the places where supporters of Cathy showed up in droves: as , hundreds showed up to the chain's location in Industry on Wednesday for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, a nationwide event fueled by social media.

We want to know what you think of the sudden notoriety that Chick-fil-A is receiving.  Are you a supporter?  A boycotter?   Do you think that it is time for everyone to move on and focus on more important things?

And in general what do you think of choosing to spend your money at companies that support your values?

Betty, I just get a little tickle out of the troll. First she jumps in with an opinion. Then she can't stand the heat or is tired of the thread and, instead of deleting posts, it's things like make it stop. It's potty language, and now this. I guess we wouldn't be "bullying her" if we agreed with her. LOL. Sigh.

For any who wish to disengage from the thread, here is how you do it. Go to your name at top left that shows you are signed in. Select Account, then Settings, and on the left, choose Following. Up will come a list of all threads you are currently subscribed to on the Patch. You can click to remove the ones for which you no longer have an interest.

Lisa it's so interesting YOU bring up bullying and suicide. From Wiki: "The Suicide Prevention Resource Center synthesized these studies and estimated that between 30 and 40% of LGB youth, depending on age , have attempted suicide. Report of the Secretary's Task Force on Youth Suicide, found that LGBT youth are four times more likely to attempt suicide than other young people. This higher prevalence of suicidal ideation and overall mental health problems among gay teenagers compared to their heterosexual peers has been attributed to Minority Stress"
