A multi-vehicle collision left at least one motorcyclist injured on the 210 freeway late Saturday.
It was not clear how the collision between at least one motorcyclist and possibly a blue car happened on the westbound Interstate 210 freeway just before Mountain Avenue at 11:22 p.m.
At least one rider was down on the freeway, the extent of injuries was not immediately known. The rider may have been part of a group of motorcyclists, at least four to five other motorcycles were stopped on the right shoulder near the crash, according to CHP traffic logs.
A blue vehicle, possibly a blue Toyota Celica or CST, was seen speeding on the freeway prior to the accident. The vehicle reportedly had major front end damage, a portion of the bumper was on the freeway, as well as metal fragments and radiator fluid, according to traffic logs.
A second down motorcycle was reported on the shoulder further west of the accident, but it was not immediately known if that motorcycle was involved in the crash. Just before midnight, a traffic break was issued while tow trucks were brought in to clear the accident.
Officers at the CHP's Traffic Management Center were unable to say if the blue car was ever found, or where the injured rider may have transported to.
