Another Cold Front is Headed Toward Valley and IE

Cool temperatures were expected to continue to chill the the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire through Tuesday.

Another Pacific cold front will glide into the California coast today and generate high winds and light precipitation in the Southland on Tuesday, forecasters said.

The front will move into the Central Coast this afternoon and spread rain south to Ventura and Los Angeles counties overnight, according to a National Weather Service advisory.

Precipitation will be light, with the chance of rain diminishing Tuesday afternoon, but strong winds, gusting as high as 50 miles per hour, are expected, particularly in mountain areas and the Antelope Valley, NWS forecasters said.

A light rain sprinkled most of the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire areas Sunday. The rain total was barely measurable in most areas here.

The snow level will start out above 6,000 feet tonight but drop down to the 3,500-4,000-foot level Tuesday, although snow accumulation will be light -- no more than two inches, weather service officials said.

The NWS forecast drizzly weather today and highs of 59 in Claremont, Diamond Bar, La Verne and Redlands; 56 in Banning; 68 in Palm Desert; 62 in Long Beach, Anaheim, Avalon, Pasadena, San Gabriel, Woodland Hills and at LAX; and 63 in Newport Beach and downtown L.A.

Forecasters predict an 80 percent chance of rain in the Inland Empire while the San Gabriel Valley’s east end has a 30 percent chance of seeing rain tonight. Palm Desert was expected to remain mostly sunny, NWS officials said.

Temperatures will be around the same Tuesday, when rain and snow are forecast, and dip a few degrees on Wednesday amid sunny weather, according to the NWS. The next bout of rain after Tuesday is expected Sunday.

@Muslim radicals are the problem here. This jihad/war whatever the hell you want to call it, willRead More never end in our lifetime. Ultimately the Muslims will win. Look no further than Europe. Unless there is a full fledged worldwide war, they really can't be stopped. Their numbers are too great. What we are doing in Afghanistan is nothing more than swatting away a bee every time one flies out of the hive. But there are millions still in the hive. Unless we close our borders to people from the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe, what happened in Boston will continue. It's not racist to not like Muslims just like it wasn't racist to not like the Russians during the Cold War or Germans during WWII.

Thanks to these two scum brothers, I can no longer transport my hearty meals in my trusty pressureRead More cooker via backpack. As an alternative, I tried to fit a crock pot, but it ruined my backpack zipper and made a meatball/marinara mess inside my backpack; even making way into the USB ports of my laptop. Sorry, tupperware won't cut it. It just gets too hot and eventually leaves a huge welt on my back.

Catholic Church needs someone younger and more hip for change rather than another old dinosaur.
